How is the business day count calculated?
Every day from the start date to the end date (inclusive) is checked; Saturdays and Sundays are excluded. Public holidays are not accounted for since they vary by country.
Why do total days and the years/months/days breakdown look different?
Total days is a straight count of 24-hour periods. The years/months/days breakdown instead walks the calendar (accounting for different month lengths), which is what most people mean by "2 months and 10 days" — the two views describe the same span, just measured differently.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The calculation happens entirely in your browser with JavaScript — nothing is uploaded.
