What does this do?
It removes cue numbers, timestamps and formatting tags (like <i>, <c> or word-timing tags from YouTube auto-captions) from an SRT or VTT file, then joins the remaining text into one flowing transcript you can read or paste elsewhere.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Parsing happens entirely in your browser with JavaScript — the subtitle file never leaves your device.
Why are some lines missing?
With duplicate removal on, consecutive cues with identical text are merged into one — this is common in auto-generated captions where the same line repeats across overlapping cues.
